Autism & Mental Health: Free guide from National Autistic Society
The National Autistic Society and Mind have published a good practice guide to help mental health professionals adapt talking therapies for autistic children and adults. The guide incorporates the views of over 1,500 autistic people and almost 1,000 family members who responded to a mental health survey in October and November 2020.

Guidance for paediatricians and other health professionals on how to recognise and manage incidents of perplexing presentations (PP) or fabricated or induced illness (FII). The guide includes a summary of research on PP and FII, definitions and features. Topics covered include: responding to alerting signs; health and education rehabilitation plans; referring to children's social care; record keeping; and training, supervision and support. The guidance refers to statutory child protection guidance in England but is also intended to be applicable to paediatricians in the devolved nations.

NSPCC: Home or out alone
NSPCC Learning has made available a guide for professionals to help parents and carers decide whether their child is ready to either stay at home or go out alone. The guide covers some of the risks parents should consider before making a decision, such as how their child feels about the idea and who they should contact in an emergency. There is also a checklist for parents and children to work through together to help them prepare for different types of scenarios.
