The NSPCC has published findings from an FOI about online child sexual abuse offences. Findings include that there were over 9,742 online child sexual offences recorded by the 41 UK police forces that responded to the FOI last year; and recorded crimes increased by three quarters in the last four years when comparing data from the 39 forces who were able to provide data for both time periods.
Safeguarding Bedfordshire in partnership with the Marie Collins Foundation offers free ‘Path to Protection’ eLearning to practitioners working or volunteering with children and young people in Bedfordshire. We also offer ‘ACT’ virtual classroom sessions to those involved in investigating/ assessing/ managing cases where children have been harmed online.
